Who I Work With

I work with individuals, couples and families, and I currently take clients ages 14 and up. I specialize in helping folx manage and process challenges such as depression, anxiety, panic, ADHD, difficulty with communication between couples and families, navigating parent/child relationships, and more.

You are the expert of your own life - I will never be in your skin. However, I ground my work in curiosity and compassion and strive to understand and honor your lived experience.

I’m a no BS therapist and don’t like to sugar coat things. My promise to you is, I will always be real.

Working with me means that we’ll be working together to accomplish your goals, support you through the hard stuff, and celebrate your successes and joys. That said, therapy doesn’t always have to entail deep emotional work and sometimes it’s important to just blow off steam.

I’m here for all of it. Give me the tea, show me the raw stuff, and let me walk with you as we find your path toward healing while holding the challenges, sorrows, humor, and joy along the way.

Helping individuals, couples, and families heal authentically outside the box.

Therapeutic Orientation

(How I do therapy)

A mentor once told me that it’s important to stand in your power with resilience and compassion. To do that, we must first cultivate an understanding of and love for ourselves. At times, this can feel impossible - I know. I’m here to remind you that you’re worth it!

I use a systemic lens in my work and am interested in the ways we are bound by the systems we are a part of. These systems may or may not serve us and when they don’t, they can breed hopelessness, and negativity. Nothing happens in a vacuum and our internal landscapes can be profoundly impacted by external influences. I’ll work with you to investigate these influences, so you can determine what’s useful and what’s not.

Let’s be real - the world is a tough place to be right now. My goal is to help you filter the noise, focus in, and find a path to healing that allows you to discover your power, and stand in it with resilience and compassion.

Being an Emotion-Focused Therapist means that I believe that emotions are a powerful piece of the puzzle of our internal landscape.

To complete the puzzle, I also draw on:

  • Attachment Theory

  • Intergenerational Family Therapy

  • IFS (Internal Family Systems)

  • DBT

  • CBT

  • Mindfulness

  • Spirituality

  • Earth/nature-based healing

This helps me create a rich and balanced understanding of you and your stories. I believe that our pasts play an important role in shaping how we see, experience, and move through the world. I also believe that we have the power to shape our futures and heal parts of ourselves that are suffering.
